Mielle
Organics
We’ve worked closely with Mielle to create high-end photography assets with an emphasis on ingredients, lighting, styling, and texture.
Fresh ingredients are a staple in Mielle’s photography.
Brand photography doesn’t always mean photographing the product. Mielle knows that ingredient propping is an essential way to enhance product photography — especially when your brand highlights “natural,” “organic,” or “raw” ingredients. All of Mielle’s product lines are a mix of 2 fresh, natural ingredients. To highlight these ingredients, we styled and shot a batch of supporting images using the raw ingredients named in their products. Here’s some of the supporting ingredient shots we did for their best-selling collections.
The Importance of Labels
One big focus for us in Mielle’s photography is label legibility. They have some reflective labels, which require extra attention to detail along with advanced lighting, compositing, and retouching techniques in order to keep the label clear and readable for their customers.
Here’s a look at how we accomplished that for their Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera line of products.

Showing off Textures
As with most beauty care lines, product texture is frequently a key selling point for Mielle. Not only does it demonstrate what the customer can expect in the packaging, but it allows an opportunity for even more creative and artistically styled swatch shots.
Here are a few samples of how we’ve used swatches to elevate Mielle’s product photography both for swatch hero shots, and as supporting styling for product images.
