  • We can provide the following file types:

    • Transparent PNGs

    • Flat Tiffs

    • Layered Tiffs

    • Jpegs

    • GIF

    • MP4

All file types are delivered with a resolution of 300ppi and sRGB color profile for web. You can learn more about each different file type below.

    Transparent PNGs

A PNG is a transparent file ready to go on your website. The transparent background will allow the product to "float" on any background on your website.

    Flat Tiffs

Flat tiffs are high resolution files with optimized compression, so they can be used across web and print.

    Layered Tiffs

This file comes with 3 layers: a product layer, a shadow layer, and a background layer. This file type is best for designers who need to manipulate the images after receiving them from our studio. Our Layered Tiff files also include clipping paths around the outside of the product.

    Jpegs

Jpegs are compressed images most commonly used for web. Our default jpeg files are 3000x3000 px for Amazon, and 300ppi.

    GIF

GIFs are stop-motion files that loop indefinitely. GIF files are not usable on Instagram.

    MP4

MP4 files are for video or stop motion content. MP4 files are compatible for Instagram use.

Can I order multiple file types?

Of course! A Jpeg or a Flat Tiff are included in the base fee, but you can add multiple file types for an additional fee.

Which file type is best for amazon or my website?

A Jpeg file is typically best for web platforms including Amazon, Shopify and many other e-commerce sites.

I need a transparent background, what file type should I order?

PNGs are transparent files ready for web use without additional retouching. However, if you plan on sending your files over to a designer then we recommend the Layered Tiff file as it is much more versatile.

I need a custom size image for my website. Can you deliver different aspect ratios?

Of course! Just add in the exact dimensions you need and we’ll adjust your files accordingly.

Can I get the RAW image file?

We do not provide RAW files. Our process involves advanced retouching and compositing, using multiple RAW files and Photoshop adjustments to create the final image. Because of this, individual RAW files do not have the same appearance as the final product, and will not be useful for web or print.

  • We produce various styles of product photography. That includes:

  • At Avenue3 Studios we maintain ownership over the copyright of all the photos we create. We grant our customers worldwide, unlimited usage rights. This allows usage for an unlimited amount of time, in an unlimited amount of mediums with unlimited amounts of alterations for promotional and advertising purposes to the company that made the order. This is the most usage that can be given and it is included in the price.

Copyright can be a confusing and complicated legal subject. Here are some basic tips regarding your Ave3 Photos:

When you purchase photography through Ave3, you aren’t purchasing the copyright to the images; you are purchasing worldwide, unlimited usage rights to the photos.

Without owning the copyright, you are only restricted from selling the copyright of the images to others and filing a lawsuit against those that use the images without permission. You can still file cease and desist orders and DMCA takedown orders without a copyright transfer.

If you feel that you still need the copyright we do sell the copyright for an additional fee. Federal lawsuits are immensely costly in terms of money and time, so they aren’t the most common solution to image theft; because of this, most of our customers find they do not need to purchase the copyright.

Please note that if you do choose to purchase the copyright from us, we do not register the copyright through the US copyright office; this is a separate step.

If you would like to register the copyright after purchasing it from us, you may do so through the US copyright office.

If you are mostly concerned about us sharing the images, we are more than happy to agree to not share them on our website or with anyone. At your request, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement for the images which will legally protect you. We are more concerned about you having a positive experience with us than we are with using your product images.

  • No, Ave3 is not affiliated with POW Photography. We provide some similar services and have been contracted by POW to assist with their existing projects, but we are a separate entity.

Any concerns or questions regarding open POW orders or past orders can be directed to POW Photography.

  • Images will be delivered via a third-party online gallery, with a custom link and password provided to the client via e-mail.

Clients may use the gallery to download, share, approve, disapprove, or comment on images. Markups can also be done within the gallery if revisions are needed.

  • Our Revision Policy:

2 types of revisions are available: retouching revisions in Photoshop, and qualified reshoots. Most revisions will be completed in Photoshop through retouching. Standard retouching revisions include:

    • Color Correction

    • Removing minor dust and scratches

    • Cropping adjustments

    • Exposure adjustments

If our team determines that your revision requires a reshoot, then we'll review your order and see if it qualifies for a complimentary reshoot. In order to qualify, your order must fall within the terms outlined in our reshoot policy.

If your revision does not qualify for a complimentary reshoot, our team may offer a paid reshoot.

    Our Reshoot Policy:

A free reshoot may be requested if we did not reasonably follow the shot instructions provided to us. Shot instruction must be clear and in our possession prior to shooting in order to qualify for free reshoots.

Clear Instruction is defined as instruction that includes a lighting match image, a position match image, and styling/shooting notes.

If the reshoot request includes anything new, clarified, or otherwise not included in the instruction we had before we started shooting, resulting reshoots will be billable at Avenue3’s discretion.

Please review our Terms and Conditions for full details regarding revisions and reshoots.

  • Shipping orders to and from Avenue3 Studios are the responsibility of the customer. Avenue3 will not cover the cost of shipping to or from our studio.

If return shipping is needed you can provide a prepaid shipping label with your order, your shipping account number or we can provide an invoice for the cost when your order is complete.
